# TUSQ
## Overview
TUSQ is a combination medication containing **T**rimethoprim and **Us**nic acid. It is formulated as a topical solution.
## Primary Indications
* Treatment of superficial skin infections, particularly those caused by *Staphylococcus aureus* and *Streptococcus pyogenes*.
* Management of impetigo and other minor skin lesions.
## Adult Dosing
* Apply TUSQ solution directly to affected areas two to three times daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
## Pediatric Dosing
* Data on pediatric dosing is limited. Use with caution in pediatric patients and only under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
## Dose Adjustments
