# Miconazole Vaginal Pessary
## Overview
Miconazole vaginal pessary is an antifungal agent used to treat vaginal yeast infections (vulvovaginal candidiasis). It works by disrupting the fungal cell membrane.
## Primary Indications
* Treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis caused by *Candida albicans*.
## Adult Dosing
* **100 mg pessary:** Insert one pessary vaginally at bedtime for 7 days.
* **200 mg pessary:** Insert one pessary vaginally at bedtime for 3 days.

## Pediatric Dosing
