# Isoxsuprine Hydrochloride
## Overview
Isoxsuprine hydrochloride is a vasodilator. Its exact mechanism of action is not fully understood but is thought to involve direct relaxation of vascular smooth muscle, leading to vasodilation.
## Primary Indications
* Treatment of peripheral vascular disease (e.g., intermittent claudication).
