# Isoxsuprine Hydrochloride
## Overview
Isoxsuprine hydrochloride is a peripheral vasodilator. Its mechanism of action is not fully understood but may involve direct relaxation of vascular smooth muscle and beta-adrenergic stimulation.
## Primary Indications
* Treatment of peripheral vascular diseases such as intermittent claudication and Raynaud's phenomenon.
* Adjunctive therapy to improve blood flow in conditions associated with vasospasm.
## Adult Dosing
* Oral: 10 mg to 20 mg three to four times daily.
* Maximum daily dose: 80 mg.

## Dose Adjustments
