## Primary Indications

* **Topical preparations:** Skin moisturization and wound healing.
* **Surgical adjunct:** Viscosurgical device in ophthalmic surgery (e.g., cataract surgery).
## Adult Dosing
* **Intra-articular for Knee Osteoarthritis:** Varies by product. Commonly:
* 2 mL or 2.5 mL (20 mg or 25 mg) injected intra-articularly once weekly for 3-5 weeks.
